Welcome to the Futurescape

As Milan Design Week brings the world together to imagine what comes next, frog welcomes clients, partners and the design community to an evening exploring Futurescape - Artificial Realities, a space where human creativity and artificial intelligence increasingly intersect.

Inspired by the provocations within the Futurescape report, the evening will bring together perspectives from design, deep-tech and industry to reflect on the opportunities and tensions shaping our shared future. Through an interactive exhibition and a conversation with international guests, we will explore how design can guide the development of intelligent systems while preserving what makes us human.

Expect bold ideas, open dialogue and the opportunity to connect with frog’s global community.

Panel on Designing for Physical Intelligence

Welcome to the Futurescape – Artificial Realities traces how AI is moving beyond screens to inhabit the environments we live in. With advances in perception, dexterity and adaptive behavior, intelligent systems are beginning to sense, move and respond within our shared spaces, marking one of AI’s most transformative frontiers.

Our speakers explore this emerging landscape—where intelligence gains presence, context and agency—and examine the alliance between engineering foresight and human‑centered intent. A vivid conversation on how these realities take shape and the role design must play in steering this shift.

Reflections, networking, drinks and music

Inspired by the bold provocations of frog’s Futurescape – Artificial Realities report, guests will be invited to question the boundaries between human and machine, explore emerging artificial realities, and take a stand on the futures we are collectively shaping. All within an atmosphere designed for discovery and dialogue.

Artificial intelligence is no longer just accelerating tasks; it is reshaping how we care, learn, trust, create and connect. As machines shift from tools to collaborators, a new human–AI chemistry is emerging, demanding greater intention in how we design for it.

The provocations in this year’s Futurescape – Artificial Realities invite us to explore these shifting horizons and consider the futures our choices may unlock. They prompt reflection, but also responsibility: to preserve agency, deepen empathy and ensure that progress strengthens what makes us human.
